Guidelines for Comprehensive Exams in Spanish

The Spanish Section has prepared a 19-page document in .PDF format that contains an explanation of the different components of these capstone examinations, as well as reading lists, and sample questions. All graduate students planning to do Comprehensive Exams, rather than a thesis are urged to look at this document as early in their studies as possible. It will help them plan their studies better, and it will help them to prepare for the exams well in advance.
