The 2008 Summer Institute for Teachers of Spanish will meet at Central Connecticut State University between June 27 and August 1 with a 9-credit program specifically designed for teachers of Spanish and advanced students wishing to specialize in teaching.
The Institute's intensive session will start on Friday, June 27 and will end on Friday, August 1. Classes will meet from 9 am until 2 pm every day. A variety of activities are planned for Mondays through Fridays, including classes, discussion groups, films, reading, writing, and conversation activities. In the Technology Workshops, participants will be exposed to a variety of possibilities for using computers to develop instructional materials, and will have time to develop their own applications to take back to their schools.
