What can you do with a Spanish degree?

With the increasing popularity of the Spanish language, many people may be asking themselves, “What can I do with a degree in Spanish?” I have always been very interested in the Spanish language and I found it very appropriate to choose it as my major. For students, the most important thing is finding a job after college, utilizing their college experience and the degree they just finished. My knowledge of Spanish, and future degree in Spanish, has earned me a job for the International / Deportes Production department in ESPN, in Bristol, Connecticut. Spanish is a requirement for this department, as well as a desired asset in other departments within this company. ESPN is a fantastic company to start your career, and I especially enjoy working in this department because it helps me maintain the language that I have studied for so many years. I always love to know that I will never forget how to speak, read or write Spanish.

If you really have a passion for Spanish, as I do, I insist you choose Spanish as your major. Learning another language like it was your own can only lead to great things.

¿Qué se puede hacer con un título académico en español?

Con la popularidad creciente de la lengua española, mucha gente puede estar preguntándose, ¿Qué puedo hacer con un título de español? Desde siempre, he estado muy interesada en el idioma español y me parece muy apropiado haberlo elegido como mi especialidad principal. Lo más importante para los estudiantes siempre es solicitar empleo, después de graduarse, utilizando su experiencia universitaria y el grado que acaban de terminar. Mi conocimiento del idioma español, y mi futuro grado, me han ganado un puesto de trabajo en el Departamento Internacional / Producción del canal Deportes de ESPN, en Bristol, Connecticut. El español es un requisito para este departamento, además de ser algo deseable para los otros departamentos dentro de la compañía. Es un sitio fenomenal para empezar su carrera, sobre todo porque en este departamento, mantengo el conocimiento del idioma que he estudiado durante muchos años. También me encanta saber que nunca voy a olvidar hablar, leer o escribir español.

Si realmente algunos de vosotros tenéis una pasión por el español, como yo, os insisto elegir español como vuestro foco principal. Conocer otro idioma como si fuera el vuestro, sólo os puede traer cosas buenas.
